SKIN DISCOLOURATIONS

A variety of conditions can cause discolourations in your skin. A common type of skin discolouration is post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), which may appear as dark or red spots in areas where you have had a blemish. These marks may be more apparent in people of colour. Certain acne treatments that are very drying can also cause these blemish marks and even excessive scrubbing of sensitive skin may lead to blemish marks. Last, the effects of the sun can also cause skin discolourations, uneven skin tone and brown spots, so it's important to use a broad spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen on both sunny and cloudy days when outdoors.

Skin discolourations and uneven skin tone caused by blemish marks and brown spots can be greatly improved by using products containing natural soy, which is scientifically proven to improve skin tone and texture.

The AVEENO® POSITIVELY RADIANT® line of cleansers and moisturizers utilizes the naturally active moisturizing benefits of soy to even out skin tone and texture.

Sun protection is important to maintain improvement and AVEENO® offers two facial moisturizers that offer sun protection. POSITIVELY RADIANT® Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15 contains an exclusive Total Soy Complex and Natural Light Diffusers and is clinically proven to help even out natural skin tone and immediately reflect light to bring out skin's natural radiance while providing essential sun protection.
