Chamomile is probably one of the oldest known medicinal plants. It was regarded as the plant’s physician and was thought to keep other plants in good health. Roman chamomile (Anthemic nobilis) is one of the most commonly used in herbology and is an excellent calming and soothing oil.

Ylang-Ylang, which means "flower of flowers", is a tree that produces beautiful yellow flowers. In the Molucca Islands, people soak ylang-ylang and cucuma flowers in coconut to prepare an ointment called borri-borri that they use for skin care, hair care, and skin disease to prevent fever. It has a soothing effect on the skin and is recommended for oily skin.
